Four Hidalgo County men have filed a lawsuit claiming that a male co-worker and supervisor at an oil and gas drilling services company sexually harassed them while their superior did nothing to stop it.
Gerardo Bocanegra, Juan J. Guerrero, Martin Silva and Reynaldo Garcia allege that they were fired from Integrated Product Services between December 2007 and February 2008.
The men claim sexual harassment from co-worker Manuel Moreno and supervisor Lance Perron.
The four men claim they reported the alleged conduct to supervisor Robert Gallegos who made promises to have it stop but the harassment allegedly continued.
One of the men said Perron would touch him in his private body parts.
The other three men claim that Moreno would touch their private body parts and even expose himself to them.
Integrated Production Services’ attorney Christopher Moore declined to comment on the case but court records show the case was first filed in a state district court in Hidalgo County.
Court records show that the case was moved to federal court in McAllen on Friday.
The Integrated Product Services website shows that the company provides production enhancement services for oil and gas producers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Southeast Asia.
