HARLINGEN, TEXAS -- Stolen copper lead to the arrests of three alleged thieves Wednesday.

Harlingen police said they received a call about a theft in progress on the 2000 block of Whitetail Deer.

When officers arrived, the victim told them three suspects had cut copper lines to the A/C unit and took off.

Police caught up with the three suspects shortly after.

Officers arrested Preston Marcus Hinojosa and two 16-year-old boys.

All three have already been charged.
