MISSION -- A police pursuit in the Mission area forces three schools to go on lockdown.  Few details are being released.

We do know that a police pursuit ended on Mile 1 South and Los Ebanos in Mission just before 11 this morning.  The Mission School District placed three schools, Leal Elementary, O’Grady Elementary and Kenneth White Junior High, were all placed on lockdown as a precaution.

Police were searching for one suspect, but are not telling Action 4 News exactly why.  Mission Public Information Officer Craig Verley told Action 4 News the lockdown at all three schools were lifted as of 11:15 a.m.

We’re told the suspect has been captured.

We’ll have more on this story as it develops on Action 4 News at 5, 6 and on valleycentral.com
