Edinburg school board members have voted  to terminate two bus drivers who were accused of taking extra time on a lunch break.

The two employees were suspended last week for reportedly taking an extra 15 minutes on their lunch break.

Board trustees met on Tuesday where they decided the two should be fired.

One of the bus drivers claims this all involves retaliation for organized labor activities.

The school district's attorney Jacques Treviño said the two drivers violated clear policies laid out by the district.

He adds no retaliation was behind the decision to terminate.
