Those sending their children to elementary schools inside the Mission Consolidated Independent School District will have to get up to date with new school bus routes.
Some of the bus stops will be relocated to entrances of subdivisions along main roads and two of the smaller routes will be cut out completely.
Mission CISD spokesman Craig Verley says parents were told of the change last year but are being reminded once again during registration.
Verley said it's the districts way of saving money on rising fuel costs.
