Mexican president to visit Reynosa today

Mexican President Felipe Calderon is expected to visit Reynosa today.

The visit is part of a two-city visit to Tamaulipas.

Calderon is attending the opening of manufacturing plant in Altamira at 10:10 a.m.

The Mexican president is then expected to attend the opening of two new units at gas processing plant in Reynosa around 1:30 p.m.

The visit to Reynosa comes one day after a gun battle with alleged drug dealers and a man was arrested with 20 grenades.
