Leaders with the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) confirmed a possible H1N1 virus outbreak among members attending a recent convention.

The Hispanic rights organization held its annual convention from July 12th through 17th in San Juan, Puerto.

LULAC National President Rosa Rosales sent out an e-mail Wednesday morning that there are confirmed N1NH1 cases among LULAC members at the convention.

"There is a strong possiblity that LULAC members who attended the National Convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico were also exposed to the H1N1 virus," Rosales wrote in her e-mail.

The organization is urging members who attended the convention and with flu symptoms to get tested for the virus.
