MCALLEN, TEXAS -- An alleged robber turned himself in McAllen police on Monday.

Authorities said Martin Santana Junior broke into Danny's Pawn Shop on Broadway on Sunday.

Santana allegedly stole two guns from the display case.

The following day, Santana walked into the McAllen Police Department and surrendered.

"We caught a break on this case because he turned himself in," said Sgt. Joel Morales.  "Anytime a handgun is stolen, that's always a concern for us.  This case is still under investigation."

Investigators have not been able to recover the guns stolen from the pawn shop.

Anyone with information on this robbery should call the McAllen Crime Stoppers line at (956) 687-TIPS.
