BROWNSVILLE -- The tip of Texas Tea Party is trying to educate Americans about our constitution this 4th of July.

What better place to do that, than at Independence Day Celebrations

Hundreds showed up at the Brownsville Sports Park to lend support to the group and learn more about the reason for our freedom and reigns in the United States constitution.

"We are here to celebrate over 200 years of freedom and we're here to honor our troops. We are collecting bags for the troops and honor those who fought for us and are fighting for us."

Goldberg said they're hoping to remind people of all the sacrifices and hard work put forth for our freedom.
