The group that sang "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday" is cancelling their Fourth of July show in Brownsville.
Brownsville city officials released a written statement on Thursday morning saying that the Boyz II Men concernt has been cancelled "due to unforseen circumstances."
All other events at the Fourth of July celebration will continue as planned.
City officials said the 50-piece 36th Infantry Division Army National Guard Concert Band from Camp Mabry in Austin will play.
Organizers are setting up food and beverage booths as well as organized a children's play area, softball tournament and extreme sports event featuring skateboarding and BMX bike competitions.
The Saturday evening fireworks display will continue as planned syncrhonized to music from Hot Kiss FM 106.3.
