An elderly Corpus Christi man is free on a $50,000 bond after being charged in a child pornography case.
A federal grand jury in Corpus Christi indicted Welles D. Bacon with five counts of possession of child pornography on June 10.
The 72-year-old man is accused of having videos of minors engaging in sexual conduct on his home computer.
Bacon surrendered to authorities on Tuesday.
The elderly Corpus Christi man is free after posting $50,000 bond set by U.S. Magistrate Judge Brian Owsley.
Federal prosecutors said the case was the result of a joint-investigation beteween U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcment (ICE) and the Corpus Christi Police Department.
