EDINBURG -- The city of Edinburg launches a new campaign today to try and stimulate it's economy.
The campaign is called "I SHOP Edinburg".
All you have to do is pick up a "I SHOP Edinburg"card and present it at local businesses to receive discounts.
You can save money at Edinburg restaurants, hotels, and golf courses.
City council members say despite a dramatic downturn in the economy, Edinburg's tax revenue is up more than 13 percent compared to this time last year.
The "I SHOP Edinburg" cards are free and can be picked up at the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce or you can call 956-383-4974 for more information.
