RGC Coach accused of sexually assaulting player

RIO GRANDE CITY, TEXAS -- A Rio Grande City coach is on paid leave after accusations that he sexually assaulted one of his players.

The girls track and field coach, Erasmo Montalvo, was arrested over the weekend.

Court documents state Montalvo fondled and assaulted one of his players last year.

Rio Grande City administrators placed him on administrative leave pending an investigation.
