Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is investigating a two-vehicle accident involving a school bus filled with students in Elsa.

State troopers told Action 4 News that a van ran into an Elsa school bus at 15½ Mile North west of FM 88 around 8 a.m.Tuesday.

Local DPS spokesman Johnny Hernandez said the collision was minor and no students were injured.

But Hernandez said paramedics checked out all the children as a precaution.

State troopers are continuing to investigate the accident.

It’s not clear if the driver of the van will be ticketed or charged for the accident.
