Donna ISD has joined a growing list of school districts that are temporarily cancelling classes amid concerns about the swine flu.
School district officials decided to close all Donna ISD schools from Tuessday, May 5 through Tuesday, May 12th.
There have been no confirmed cases of swine flu in Donna schools, but officials said the move was a precautionary measure.
All students are expected to be released from classes by 3 p.m. Monday.
Donna ISD officials are expected to hold a press conference about the closures at 4 p.m. Monday.
