San Benito police have arrested a suspect in the death of a conjunto music pioneer.
A home healthcare provider discovered Ramon Piñon's body inside his Commerce Street home on Sunday morning.
Investigators believe the suspect or suspects entered the home through a front window and left Piñon severely beaten.
Authorities are waiting on autopsy results but police said several items were taken from the home.
Investigators were able to identify and arrest a suspect.
San Benito police told Action 4 News that the suspect will be arraigned at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Newscameras will be there to bring back images and video of the arraignment.
