Authorities bust Hidalgo County kidnapping ring

Mission police and a other law enforcement agencies said they have dismantled a Hidalgo County-based kidnapping ring.

Investigators told Action 4 News that a woman was kidnapped in Mission about two weeks.

Mission police said their joint with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies led them to a house in Alamo on Friday morning.

Authorities arrested three suspects at the home in addition to seizing four cars, weapons and other evidence.

Investigators said they were also en route to a ranch north of Edinburg where the woman was allegeldy held.
