Conservative groups from across the Rio Grande Valley are planning a series of "Tea Party" protests in three cities on Wednesday.
Organizers said the three Valley events are part of nationwide protest against President Barack Obama's stimulus plan.
Conversatives are against the federal government spending billions of tax dollars to help businesses that they say should have failed.
The Taxed Enough Already (TEA) Party protests are planned for the April 15th tax deadline.
The protests are also named after the Boston Tea Party where American colonists chanted, "No taxation without reprsentation."
Four events are planned in McAllen, Brownsville and Harlingen on Wednesday, April 15th:

Organizaers said the events are free and open to the public.
