Pharr mother runs over, kills 14-year-old son

A Pharr mother is in mourning after he ranover and killed her 14-year-old son in a Monday evening accident.

Police told Action 4 News that the accident happened on the 500 block of Bronze Avenue.

Investigators said the teenage victim was apparently riding on the hood of his mother's car and fell off.

Police are questioning the woman about the accident but it's unknown if she'll face any criminal charges.
