Clocks in the Rio Grande Valley and Mexico will be back in sync after this weekend.

Almost all of Mexico sets its clocks one hour forward on the first Sunday of April.

The State of Sonora does not participate but the change will take place for everyone else in Mexico at 2 a.m. Sunday -- Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Texas and most of the United States adjusted their clocks for daylight savings during the second Sunday in March.

Clocks in the Rio Grande Valley and Tamaulipas have been off by an hour for one hour for the past three weeks.

Mexico's daylight savings adjustment will bring time back in sync for both sides of the border.

Clocks "fall back" in Mexico during the last Sunday in October but "fall back" during the first Sunday in November for the United States.
