U.S. Census creates job hotline and website

Amid the constant news of American companies laying off workers, one company is hiring.

If you are looking for a job, the Census Bureau is recruiting hundreds of workers.

The Census Bureau serves as one of the leading sources of quality data about the nation's people and economy.

Call the Census Job Line at (866) 861-2010 to schedule an employment exam and take a basic skills test.

Applicants can also go to the census website for applications and more information.
