Gladys Porter Zoo: Name Our Baby Hippo

The Gladys Porter Zoo recently welcomed a new female baby pygmy hippo.

But the zoo is asking visitors to help in voting for her name.

Valley residents can vote for one of five options:

Plum
Violet
Kiboko
Clementina
Yejide

Voting ends on March 24th at 5:00 p.m.

The baby hippo just began its public appearances this past Friday, March 6th and is available for viewing every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
