Pep rally tonight for Hidalgo girls state-bound hoops team

HIDALGO, TEXAS -- The City of Hidalgo will hold a pep rally for the Lady Pirates basketball team at Dodge Arena in Hidalgo on Monday, March 2.

Doors open at 7 p.m.

The first 300 people through the door receive free tickets to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers home game on Tuesday, March 3.

The Hidalgo girls basketball team will play Argyle on Thursday, March 5, in the 3A State Tournament.

Hidalgo is the first valley girls basketball team to ever make the state tournament.

Please come and support them as they prepare for the big game.
