Members of the Master of public administration program at UTPA are honored in Austin.
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- State Representative Aaron Peña honored members of the Master of Public Administration program at The University of Texas-Pan American for their dedication to the field of public administration.
"UTPA has made great strides since the inception of the Master of Public Administration Program and I am honored to have welcomed their visit to our State Capitol," said Representative Peña. "I look forward to working with these outstanding individuals in the near future in shaping our government."
Members of the Association of Public Administrators present were President Maricela De Leon, Vice President Adan Nieto, Victor M. de Leon, Edgar Cantu, Esteban Sanchez, Sylvia Quiñones and Dr. Aziza Zemrani the Association Advisor, Dr. Cynthia Lynch MPA Assistant Professor and Dr. Thomas D. Lynch, Executive Director of UTPA at San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Representative Peña authored House Resolution 508, recognizing the Association for their efforts and continued participation in the public sector.
This is the first time Representative Peña had the opportunity to host the Association of Public Administrators from UTPA to the State Capitol.
