Whether your weather preference is sunny and warm or cloudy and wet, this week’s forecast has something for you. 

First, a cold front brings seasonable temperatures and rain on Monday. 

Then, strong high pressure, behind the frontal system, brings lots of sunshine on Wednesday through Friday. 

Finally, a stronger cold front passes through the Rio Grande Valley on Saturday morning.

Keep the umbrella nearby! 

Overcast skies and rain can be expected throughout the day on Monday. 

Seasonable high temperatures will be near 70 degrees. 

Showers will continue overnight with lows in the mid-50s. 

Thick clouds with off and on drizzle are likely on Tuesday morning. 

Skies will become partly cloudy by the afternoon. 

Highs will be in the mid-70s.

A ridge of high pressure anchors itself over the area and changes the weather to sunny on Wednesday through Friday. 

A south-southeasterly flow will pump-in moisture and warm-up the temperatures. 

High temperatures will be near 80 degrees while overnight lows will range from the mid-50s to the low 60s. 

Wind speeds will increase between 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph on Friday. 

Another cold front sweeps across the Valley on Saturday morning and brings seasonable temperatures this weekend.
