Police have been very busy this holiday season.

Wednesday at 5 in the morning, there was a shootout at the Hidalgo port of entry.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents tried to stop two men driving a Tahoe.

The drive refused to stop and rammed the back of the truck into a toll booth.

Agents and officers fired several rounds at the vehicle.

The suspects still manage to escape into Mexico.

It is not known why they were running from police.
