A man wanted for attempted murder in Hidalgo County is behind bars after he allegedly tried to enter the United States through an international bridge.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officeres arrested Arturo Coronado at the Progreso International Bridge at 9:16 p.m. Friday.
A database check revealed that the 19-year-old Edinburg man was wanted by the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Departmentfor attempted murder.
Details were not available about the crime over the weekend but customs officials said Coronado was transferred to county custody.
