New Year's Eve is on Wednesday and fireworks stands throughout the Rio Grande Valley are hoping for a profitable holiday.

Action 4 News visited a stand off Business 83 in Harlingen.

Fireworks vendor Paul Saldaña said the biggest seller this year is the "United We Stand" family pack.

The package costs $100 but comes with an assortment of fireworks.

"You pay like $100 buck, you go out with a bang and put on a good show for the kids," Saldaña said.
