Breezy will turn to downright windy as the Rio Grande Valley moves through the day Wedneday.

South winds will crank up from 20 to 30mph by Wednesday afternoon.

We are waiting for a cold front to slice south across the state and finally pass through the Valley early Thursday morning.

Daytime highs are currently in the low 80s but will drop on Thursday to barely 70 behind the front with lows of clouds and a few showers.
