Alamo residents who live south of Fannin Street to Rancho Blanco Road along South Alamo Road will experience an interruption of water service beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
City officials said water service will be off for several hours.
Authorities said the move is necessary to install bigger water lines in some areas.
City officials said the new water line connections will enable residents to receive more adequate water pressure.
