Authorities said a group of Palmview residents successfully fought against a group of armed men trying to forcefully enter their home.
Hidalgo County Sheriff's Department deputies said the incident took place on North Abram Road outside Palmview on Friday morning.
The homeowners told deputies that the armed men tried to forcefully enter their home.
Deputies told Action 4 News that a struggle enused and that the suspects fled.
One alleged suspect has been taken into custody.
