Donna De Palma will be left without a home in nine days.
The Harlingen woman said Hurricane Dolly left her house looking like a wreck.
De Palma claims her landlords have done little to fix the problem, eventhough she says she was up to date on her rent.
"I paid June, I paid July and then when Dolly came and I was given him $100 dollars here and there because he hadn't fixed anything," she said.
Property manager Jimmy Barbee told Action 4 News that he sees things differently.
"Fixing the place is not a problem the problem, the problem is they don’t want to pay the rent," Barbee said.
But De Palma said she doesn't want to pay for what she calls damaged property.
"He put this board these new boards is what he did," she said. "They're not bracing anything there just nailed to the bad part of the roof."
De Palma said Barbee's solution was to knock off $30 in rent.
"That just not sufficient for me I know I’ve lost about $1,000 worth of property," she said.
But Barbee claims he tried to do more but his maintenance worker not allowed in the apartment.
"They refuse to let him in and then I’ve tried to go in a couple of times and please don’t come in the house is a mess," he said.
De Palman said that's not true.
"He flat out lied when he said we denied him access," she said. "How many times have I let him in here."
The entire mess resulted in an eviction notice and has ended up in court.
