Authorities temporarily sealed off a street following a standoff at an apartment copmlex near downtown Donna.
It all happened at a complex off 3rd Street just one block away from Business 83 around just after 2 p.m. Thursday.
Full details were not immediately available but police surrounded the home and temporarily sealed off the street.
A woman who lives at the apartment said her son was arrested and released from jail last night.
Two armed men were waiting for her son at inside their apartment when they returned.
The mother told Action 4 News that the men refused to leave and one of them even spent the night there.
The Donna woman said she believes the incident is drug-related.
Police evacuated the complex and threw a cell phone inside the apartment.
SWAT team officers stormed the apartment after nobody answered the phone.
Investigators reported that nobody was inside.
