A Port Isabel man is behind bars after being accused of exposing himself to two young children.

Port Isabel police arrested 48-year-old Scott Randal Schade over the weekend.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the incident happened at an apartment complex off South Shore Drive on Thursday evening.

Witnesses told police that Schade exposed himself to a 9-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl.

Schade fled the scene in a car but witnesses gave a description to police.

Officers located Schade at his home off Champion Street a couple of days later.

Police charge Schade with two counts of indecency with a child by exposure.

Schade remains in custody at the Cameron County Jail under $30,000 dollars in bonds.
