Unidentified man killed in overnight accident

One person is dead following a single vehicle accident in Weslaco.

It happened on Mile Two West, south of Mile 12 North at around 11:30 p.m. Monday night.

Weslaco DPS tell Action 4 that one male was ejected and trapped underneath the driver's side of a 2000 Chevrolet pickup. Witnesses claim that they saw several men pull the man from the wreckage and flee the scene.

The man has not yet been identified and the truck is registered out of Houston. He's being described in his mid-twenties, around 5'6"-5'9", 150lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He was found wearing a grey sweater, black Dickie pants, white Nike shoes and a silver chain.
