Three sisters visiting their elderly father in the hospital were fined after a fight that all started due to an "offensive" Facebook post.
Harlingen police were called to the Harlingen Medical Center off Expressway 77/83 late Thursday afternoon.
Officers arrived and found three women who had been fighting in the lobby of the hospital.
The women were identified as:
• Maria Dolores Torres,50, Brownsville
• Victoria Valdez Flores, 43, Aransas Pass
• Becky Valdez Garcia, 42, Sebastian
Investigators told Action 4 News that the three sisters were there to visit their father in the hospital but started fighting after one of posted something at the others found "offensive" on Facebook.
All three women were charged with Class C misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
They all appeared before a Harlingen Municipal Court Judge on Thursday evening and were each released after each paid a $337 dollar fine.
