After a four-week trial, a federal jury handed down their verdict finding Austin attorney Marc Rosenthal guilty on all counts.
He faces up to 20 years in federal prison depending on his sentencing scheduled for June 3, 2013.
Deliberations in Rosenthal's racketeering trial started at the federal courthouse in Corpus Christi at 8:15 a.m. Thursday.
Closing arguments in the case ended Wednesday evening.
Rosenthal was convicted of one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organization (RICO) statute; five counts of mail fraud; three counts of tampering with witnesses or proceedings; one count of extortion; and, three counts of mail fraud, aiding and abetting and deprivation of honest services.
Rosenthal was convicted being the ringleader of the cash for court favors scandal involving former 404th State District Judge Abel Limas.
The Austin-based attorney was found guilty of paying tens of thousands of dollars to fix multi-million dollar lawsuits in his favor.
One of those cases involves the fatal crash of a Valley AirCare medical helicopter on South Padre Island.
A federal judge granted a change of venue to Corpus Christi due to wide publicity surrounding the case in the Rio Grande Valley.
The United States is also seeking the forfeiture of approximately $5.95 million from Rosenthal in relation to the criminal case.
