As the end of the Marc Rosenthal trial draws near, attorneys battled in the courtroom over instructions for jurors.

Testimony for the Austin-based attorney's racketeering trial ended on Tuesday leaving closing arguments and jury deliberations for Wednesday.

Rosenthal is accused of heading up the cash for court favors scandal involving 404th State District Judge Abel Limas in Brownsville.

U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen granted a change of venue moving the trial to Corpus Christi.

Testimony started back on February 4th with dozens of witnesses testifying on both sides of the case.

Witnesses against Rosenthal included both Limas and former Texas State Rep. Jim Solis.

But Rosenthal maintains his innocence and even testified in his own defense.

Flanked by his attorneys, Rosenthal appeared in court on Wednesday morning.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys spent the morning debating the language of the questionnaire and instructions to be given to jurors.

Jurors are expected to return at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday for the beginning of closing arguments.
