Mercedes bus driver finds 2-year-old girl

A 2-year-old was wondering down a street in a Mercedes subdivision on Wednesday.

A Mercedes ISD bus driver found the little girl in the Las Flores subdivision.

The bus driver picked her up and called the police station.

Mercedes Police Chief Olga Maldonado told Action 4 News the child's parents showed up to the police station at around 4:45 p.m.

Detectives are holding them for questioning.

The case is under investigation.
