An abandoned home in Brownsville caught fire Sunday morning.

Fire fighters responded to a home on the 500 block of Ruby Red Lane.

They received a call around 9:10 a.m. about smoke coming from the home.

The smoke turned to flames, but fire fighters were able to quickly distinguish them.

Brownsville Fire Department said it appeared that no one had been living in that home for some time.

This is the second abandoned home fire for Brownsville over the weekend.

A home on Larkspur Drive caught fire early Saturday morning.
