Authorities are looking for a pair of armed men who allegedly overpowered a Mission homeowner and took cash from her home.

It all happened at a home off 3300 Magdalena Avenue on the city's northwest side early Thursday morning.

Mission police told Action 4 News that two men knocked on the door and the woman answered.

The men demanded cash and and pushed the woman to the ground right before they started searching her home.

Investigators said the woman went to get knives from her kitchen to confront her attackers but was not successful.

The men allegedly found a large amount of cash in her bedroom and then fled the scene.
