Harlingen taqueria robbed at gunpoint

A man walked into El Pato around 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday in Harlingen.

He used a gun to demand cash.

Harlingen PD followed his foot prints which led investigators right to his home. He lived up the street from the eatery.

The man was arrested and claimed he dump the gun in a canal.

Brownsville dive team swept the canal twice but found nothing.

The man will be arraigned tomorrow morning.
