Fire engulfs car and structure at Harlingen junk yard

Harlingen fire fighters have responded to a fire off the 2700 North Expressway 77 on Friday.

The fire happened at the U-Pull It Junk Yard around noon.

Viewers are reporting to Action 4 News that the flames are black, thick and at least 20 feet high.

The fire department said that a vehicle inside a structure caught fire causing the fire to spread.

Crews are on the scene putting out the flames.

Action 4 News will provide more information once it is confirmed about the details of the fire.
