Authorities believe men who stole cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets from a Brownsville store are responsible for three more robberies.
Brownsville police arrested both 21-year-old Marco Antonio Perales and 19-year-old Eduardo Martinez Jr. early Monday morning.
Investigators told Action 4 News that the two men are accused of robbing a Stripes convenience store off the 2000 block of East 14th Street.
In a gunpoint robbery, the two men allegedly stole cash, cigarettes and scratch-off lottery tickets.
Brownsville police now believe the Perales and Martinez are responsible for three robberies at two convenience stores off International Boulevard in a four-day period of time.
The two men appeared before a Brownsville Municipal Court judge on Tuesday morning where they were both issued $300,000 dollars in bonds.
