Authorities have confirmed that one out of two suspects is behind bars following a weekend carjacking in Brownsville.
Brownvsille police arrested 20-year-old Ernesto Guerra on an aggravated robbery charge on Sunday night.
Investigators told Action 4 News that a man was carjacked by two armed men off Old Military Highway around 9:40 p.m. Sunday.
The two suspects took off in the man's silver Pontiac Grand Am but were later spotted by officers walking down Calle Espacio and Calle Cosmos.
Police reported that the men ran and that officers were only able to arrest Guerra.
The second suspect's name was not immediately available but Guerra remains in custody at the Brownsville City Jail.
