Photographs given to the Food Patrol show rat poop on the kitchen floor and gnawed through food products.
Shradha Sobitra, general manager at the Holiday Inn, claims many of the violations turned up in an area of the kitchen that’s been closed.
The health department could not confirm the information by news time on Wednesday evening.
He also blamed pest control for not doing a good job.
The city ordered the area to be cleaned.
A re-inspection score shows 10 demerits remain.
