Fire leaves Southmost family's home damaged

A Brownsville family is sifting through the damage following a fire at their Southmost home.

It all happened on 2800 block of East 32nd Street around 5 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators said the fire damaged at least one room in the family's home.

No injuries reported at this time.

Authorities blocked off the street while firefights put out the blaze..

No word on what caused the fire.
