Authorities have released the identity of a San Juan man who shot his brother-in-law during a Christmas Eve argument.

San Juan police told Action 4 News that they’re looking for 50-year-old Arnulfo Silguero.

Investigators said Silguero shot and his brother-in-law at a home off El Sauz and Sgt. Trevino Roads just before 4 p.m. Monday.

Police reported Silguero’s brother-in-law was shot on three times: twice in the back and once in the neck.

He is expected to recover.

The victim claims he and Silguero didn't have problems, so he has no idea why he would shoot him.

Anyone with information on Silguero's whereabouts should call the San Juan Police Department at (956) 283-8477.
