McAllen police arrested two women who stole around 340 cans of baby formula during a two-month period.
The Edinburg women, 29-year-old Yvette Alonzo and 26-year-old Katrina Martin have been charged with theft.
According to McAllen investigators, the two stole the formula from the Walmart on Nolana Ave. during the months of November and December.
The cans officers recovered have an estimated value of $5,368.
The investigation remains ongoing and there may be more arrests.
Alonzo’s bond was set at $4,000 and Martin’s bond was set at $25,000.
