A 68-year-old man was taken into custody on Friday for sexually assaulting four girls.
All four girls, under the age of sixteen, told authorities that Alberto Soto inappropriately touched them.
An initial report of the abuse was filed on November 30. Two of the girls reported that Soto had touched them on several occasions.
Investigators said that two more girls made similar outcrys once the investigation was launched.
Brownsville Police arrested Soto at a home on the 7000 block of Cerro de Oro Dr.
Soto was charged with aggravated sexual assault, three counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact and two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child.
His bond was set at $157,500.
